Dr. Abbink and every one of his staff (orthodontic techs and front office) are a sheer joy to work with! They have taken the best care of our son’s and daughter’s orthodontia. We can compare to another office, Premier Orthodontics in Oxnard, which we detested for their lack of organization, running way too late (~45 mins wait!) on appointments, and lack of or quite delayed availability of appointments, and everything is the opposite at Ventura Orthodontics. Can’t say enough good things about this office: my 20-year-old permanent retainer broke and was poking me in the mouth painfully. I called around town and other offices were all booked up and wanted to charge upward of $400 for a repair. This office got me in fast as a new patient, and the orthodontist fixed my retainer within a few minutes, making it even more comfortable than the original setup. He even sent me on my way without a charge! Flabbergasted by the kindness and professionalism. I’ll be back when my two-year-old inevitably needs braces!

Dr. Abbink and his team are friendly, informative, and professional start to finish. I never received even a hint hard sell, only a genuine effort to provide the info I needed to decide on braces…at 61. At every appointment, I received kind and personalized attention. Everything in the office is clean and modern. Most important, after my course of Invisaligns, my teeth are so much straighter, without the overbite that had been creeping up on me since I lost my retainer in high school.
